A trip on Lake Garda is a real food and wine tour that touches three beautiful regions of northern Italy. Lemons, Garda olive oil and Wine are typical local products: Lemons grow on the Riviera dei Limoni, a coastal strip from Salò to Limone sul Garda. Thanks to the mild climate all year round, wine is also produced: Bardolino, a red wine, Chiaretto, a rose wine, and Lugana doc, a white one. Garda D.O.P. oil is produced in the northernmost area, on the slopes of the Alps, and is indispensable in all dishes.

Fishing is a very popular activity in the area. Lake products are numerous and all different: whitefish, pike, perch, carp, trout. Don't miss to taste the pike in curtain sauce and the sardines in saor.

Carne Salada is a speciality of Lake Garda: a small slice of beef, marinated and flavoured. And finally, the cheese with a good glass of wine.
